This was funny - I'm way across the room, zooming in, but Reuben saw me and hammed for the camera!

This little one is such a silly. She's learned to do somersaults - but the best part about them is her wind up!

Reuben's part of an organization called Hope Kids that provides, free of charge, a constant stream of neat events for kids with life-threatening medical conditions and their families (and sometimes friends and extended family) to give them something to look forward to. This day was a big Fun Festival they apparently do annually, and it was BIG!! There were SO many things to do, and all free. We stayed for the full four hours, and all had a great time.
Reuben LOVED the motorcycle, but would NOT get close enough to touch it.
Rinnah and Evania went together, because 'Van wasn't quite ready to do it on her own.
Owen thinks he'll get himself one.

And even Krassi, too, but only for a short time - it's a big stretch for him!
There was a petting zoo. Evania like the rabbits.
Reuben loved the goats. He's always had a thing for goats.
You know, they always caricature goats as eating anything. Well, we're prone to believe that after this!
And pony rides!! The neat thing about there being SO many activities, is that even though there were a tremendous amount of people there, none of the lines were oppressive.
Reuben liked it so much that he went back for two more times!
I was so proud of Evania for giving it a good try, and succeeding!
Rinnah loves ponies and horses. These were just the right size for her.

Even Owen was interested in trying out the pony rides. There are certain advantages to being lighter than average for your age!
He also tried the climbing wall, and though his fear of heights got the best of him the first time around, he gave it another shot as we were leaving, and DID IT!!

And we're off to Bulgaria!! Here we are sitting in our very own airport waiting for the adventure to begin.
Because this blog is not private we can't yet post photos of our girls - until the adoption proceedings are finalized and they are legally our daughters, we can only share photos on a one-on-one basis, so all of the trip photos will be photos that don't have our new girls in them.
Here we are visiting "T". Gloria did almost all of her napping this week in one of our arms.

But she likes people playing with her feet! That's the hand of the child protection services worker who was present at all of our visits with B.
Our translator enjoyed snuggling with Gloria.
Gloria would not sleep in the pack n plays that were provided to us; I think she thought that if she was always touching one of us she wouldn't get left behind. ;) But in the morning she would be soundly out and I could get up while she slept in a bit.
Here she is the next morning, too!
And back in Sofia, sitting at our hotel waiting for our room to be ready for our last night.
Gloria happily napped through our tour of the Roman ruins in the center of the city.
And finally, on the last night, was comfortable enough to play on the floor for a while by herself without one of us holding her.
Up EARLY to fly back home.
In Paris. See the Eiffel Tower? It might be the closest she ever gets. ;)
