December 2016

We celebrated Grandma Glewwe's birthday with a Snickers birthday cake.
Gloria loves to pull things around, and thought this cart would just come up the stairs with her!
Fun to be getting mail for one of our new daughters already!
The Village by our house has a tree-lighting celebration every year, complete with many other activities like this petting zoo. Not every day you get to pet a real reindeer!
Reuben loves animals
Always smiley Gloria
Waiting for the bigger kids to get their faces painted.
Reuben walked up this fun flight of stairs while he waited.
Vania and Reuben with their painted cheeks.
Leah, friend Hope, and Rinnah all chose the same picture.
Stocking day!
Caught in the headlights
I found Gloria eating an orange, peel and all.
Krassi the stacker man (he's got four things piled up there!)
Leah and Rinnah using sign language at church one day.
Gloria sleepy.
My basement sewing room, getting ready to become the bigger boys' bedroom.
Gloria is pleased with herself for sitting here by herself.
We went bowling with the kids' 4H club again this year. We have quite a few kids who are very into bowling!
We found a guest in our Christmas tree.
A little closer, so you can see better.
Daddy and Chad cutting the window for the boys' bedroom!
Evania and Rinnah had to come out and watch.
Framing in the new opening, with the temporary wall supporting the joists until the new header goes in on the left of the photo.
I have photos of so many of the kids standing in this cupboard. I think we've kept something different in it with every one.
Family Christmas photo.
Cutting out paper dolls together.
"Smile, Evania!"
I don't even have to tell Gloria to smile.
Rinnah's working with glitter at Krassi's stander tray.
Owen reading. I don't have many pictures of him because he's always off doing something!
Leah has picked up enough touch typing that she really enjoys using our old laptop to work on writing her story.
Framing up interior walls of the new bedroom!
Reuben and Bridget reading together.
One of Reuben's favorite pass times is still building foam block towers.
Krassi big and tall in his stander.
Owen's first guitar recital. He was very nervous, and really didn't want to play, but he did it, and did it well.
Here he is with his friend Micah who takes lessons from the same teacher. Would you believe Micah is only 1.5 years older than Owen???
Oh my. We had our friends the Martins over just for a fun night, and they brought a crazy whipped cream in the face game.
Matt lost to Chad!
Rinnah always went at it with her eyes tightly shut.
Here she is up against Max (Evania's age).
Krassi thought we were pretty funny!
Whoops! Leah got Rinnah!
