First broken bone

Because we don't think Bobbi's broken bones count in the same way because we they were broken on purpose by a doctor, Evania is the one who wins the prize for "First Glewwe Kid Broken Arm." If I would have had to guess, I would not have guessed Evania. Reuben? Yes! Owen? Very possible? Gloria? Yep - I would have believed that one, but not Evania.

Here she is with the swing that did her in. ;) We just got home from getting a cast this morning, a week after the incident. It happened last Tuesday, and it wasn't until Friday that she did something that let us realize how much it was bugging her - she'd just been really careful with it Wednesday and Thursday! Friday night we went to our clinic's urgent care. They did x-rays and sent her home with a velcro splint that was too big, but was enough to get her through the weekend, and then this morning we finally got a real cast which she will wear for three weeks.

Don't worry, Grandma - it's a water proof cast, and they gave us instructions for how to get sand out if necessary, because she doesn't want to miss the beach!!
