| Mommy - I look like Daddy when I do this! |
This was my out-in-the-snow crew today. It was a beautiful day to be out - not too cold, and even though the snow was not good for rolling balls, it was great for packing, so we worked together to make a ton of progress on the younger girls' snow fort. Of course, since Reuben's been having nearly continuous seizures since the week before Christmas, having him out there made for some interesting moments. (He fell during one of his seizures earlier this week and ended up with nine stitches - two deeper in and seven on the surface.) But between me sticking fairly close, him wearing lots of layers, and the ground covered with fluffy snow, we managed. He got a good 10-15 minute stretch with only very minimal seizures, during which he threw lots of snowballs, and then after a 5-10 minute stretch of continuous seizures, during which he lay on the ground unable to move, I brought him inside.
