Most delightfully, Eben has finally figured out the whole world of social smiling. Six weeks is typical, and while we DID see a smattering of social smiles starting right on time, he has not be very free with them. At all. He's always been very engaged in what's going on, and interested, and soothed by human interaction, but has reciprocated in a very somber manner. This week he's just blossoming, and we're getting lots of smiles and singing/cooing in response to our advances. Lots of fun.
Gloria, on the other hand, has never really stopped smiling since she was six weeks old. :P
