All of us

After two failed attempts, we finally got a family Christmas photo with everyone in it.

Attempt one:
We all dressed nicely in coordinating colors for the Bulgarian Christmas party, and right before the potluck buffet line opened, we stepped out into the hallway and found a stranger to be on the other end of the camera. When we got home that night we found that we had some pretty decent shots...until Leah pointed out that Reuben was missing.
Oops. He HAD been there when we started, but seeing the photos explained how very quickly he had gotten to the cupcake section of the buffet line! He got himself a head start while we were all still standing there trying to smile at the same time.

Soooo, we decided we'd try again at the Christmas Eve service at church which we were all planning to attend. (Bobbi doesn't usually come with us to church, but DID say she wanted to go on Christmas Eve.) Except, by the time the stomach bug ran its course that weekend, there were only a few of us ready to go out.
There. The Glewwe family annual Christmas photo. Just missing one adult and five children. But including Reuben, so that's a plus, I guess.

We gave it one more shot at Steve's house when we opened presents a week late, and believe it or not, we were all there, and more or less all looking at the camera!
Merry Christmas!!!

  1. I reminded of the year that dad didn't make it to Greg and Nancy's, so mom just photoshopped him in...
