Our February home school field trip was a visit to the Weisman art museum on the U of MN campus, and then a brief architectural tour of some other noteworthy areas. More pictures hopefully coming soon...

| This was Mom's favorite work of art at the museum, made even better by these six works of art standing in front of it. ;) |
| This was Rinnah's favorite - we've been studying some architecture, and our trip to this museum was, in part, inspired by something we'd read about Frank Gehry. He not only designed the museum, but also this fish sculpture, which was moved here a number of years ago from a different previous location. |

| Sketching, with a neat self-portrait in the background. |
And this exhibit was SO COOL!!! It's a temporary exhibit, meant to be interacted upon - a plain gray room with a gray-toned carpet in the corner, and a variety of mini bean bags in a variety of colors. Seeing the kids, first just Owen, Leah, and Gloria, as Rinnah and Evania were still sketching in the adjacent gallery, but then all six of them crawling all over, with a seemingly endless variety of ideas for what to do with that space, was just delightful. I smiled, too, at how their clothing almost seemed custom picked to coordinate with the aqua, purple, reddish/pinkish and neutrals of the bags!

| In case you can't tell, that's Owen they're laying on top of! |
| And here's where the real action begins!! |
Let's bury Leah!!!
| And now Owen's piled on top of her... |
| And now Rinnah... |
| All six in the corner. |
| It's hard to see, but Eben's wearing his "little brother" shirt. |

| And a cute one, though fuzzy |
