After years of not doing any real teaching about architecture with my kids, we've managed to slip some decent tidbits into this year's routine with those who are at home with me.
Last Thursday's "art with mom" day involved each of the four kids designing (with bumwad!) and drawing up nicely their own skyscraper.

But this photo from the next day is my favorite of the bunch: I love the golden light on the table, the golden walls, her golden hair...and the golden rolls of bumwad. Evania really liked Leah's skyscraper, so used the bumwad to trace its basic shape, and the was adding her own details. She continues to delight us with her unique approach to all things that come her way.
