Snuggling sisters:
Bobbi snuggling Tiho
These three are something else! I don't know how any of them actually get any sleep!
Leah got a BookShelf!!! Very much appreciated extra storage space for her books, and organized in a such a fun way! (You can't see in the photo, but even the frames on the top match the pattern, with the pink frame on the left, the green in the middle, and the brown natural wood on the right)
Sisters snuggling on Leah's bed
For the first time in months, Reuben wanted "bown" (aka 'brown', which is short for "chocolate milk")! Thankfully his keto diet allows for one meal with a lower fat:protein/carb ratio so he can do an oral meal...and luckily we still have the tube to pump in the remaining fat, because even hot cocoa made with only 3 grams of sugar and heavy cream STILL doesn't have a high enough fat content for his 2:1 meal. Just imagine what it would be at the 3.5:1 ratio we need to hit for the day as a whole! Still, it was neat to have him ask to take something by mouth.
Tiring, too. But then again, he does a lot of napping on this chair.
Leah got an IOU for a gallon of paint for Christmas a year ago, and finally picked her color. This nightstand got an upgrade....
...and so did the corner of her room by her desk. The color truly glows like the sky mid-day summer - it's really pretty.
Gloria got a home made balance beam for her birthday from Rinnah, Evania, and Dad. She had gymnastics lessons last year, and LOVED them, and we're waiting for the day she can take another session!
For her "party" we took Leah and Rinnah's friend Hope ice skating - Gloria and Evania's first time (they both got used skates for Christmas).
Whoops!
A gorgeous sprinkle angel food cake with fresh blueberries!
Finally had a decent snow AND it was good for snow balls!
And dump trucks, too, apparently.
And bonfires! (It's hard to see, but Reuben and Rose are out there, working hard at a bonfire in the snow)
Here's the view out the bathroom window to where Rinnah, Gloria, and Evania were helping Ebby and Reuben play with the sled.
Bobbi's taking a foods class through the area technical college as part of her Branch Out curriculum, but because they're only able to go in person one day a week, she gets sent home a cooler of food and assignments!! Yikes! This moment was mostly posed because she can't really stand balanced AND cook at the same time - she needs support - but we keep experimenting to push the limits of what she can do.
If I let got of my phone for a moment when Leah's around, there will be selfies on it!
If Gloria's there to stabilize the swing, Krassi can climb himself up onto it, and they can play together!
Mira, back from a week and a half in the hospital for what ended up being a UTI, and then a surgery to solve some urinating issues she'd been having. Now she doesn't have to bother with that whole urinary tract thing because it just comes directly out through a hole in her abdominal wall! Weird, but it works, and she's a WHOLE lot happier now. (This photo is funny, because it *looks* like her blind eyes are giving me a very teenagerish look! "Mooooooooo-ooom")
More sleeping sisters
The three little girls are so generous about having Ebenezer play with their train tracks. He's getting better at being careful, too. Or better at not damaging them intentionally. There's still a constant stream of re-construction projects, but he's a lucky little guy - they're very patient with him!
Gloria's been really involved with Mira's cares lately.
Krassi got a ride to his therapy appointment in Owen's truck last week!!!
That's Reuben saying "oop!" because he likes to make soup with me.
Ebenezer: best brother ever! We liked how he matches this quilt so well! (Elisa - now we need to plan a time to get together!!! How soon until it's warm enough that we can play outside???)
Ha ha! Funny moment of Reuben trying to help Rose feed Krassimir. Reuben's aim was so bad (sometimes on purpose!) that Krassi tried to grab Reuben's hand not to push it away, but just to help guide it into his mouth correctly!!
Back out skating again!
All six of the girls out at the project table (and Mira's nurse). They're doing fingernail painting...except for Bobbi who is doing her household task of folding napkins and is NOT having her nails painted.
Silly boy climbing up to get some cars out!
Silly girls wearing magnetic chip clips as earrings.
Gloria helped put three braids in Mira's hair!
Owen has his BIG Lego car built up again, and was showing Ebenezer how it works.
Gloria keeps working at her sewing skills.
After Justine gave Mira her bath today, Gloria helped again with NEW braids and a pretty clip.
Chip clip look - the next level!! Leah says to let all of you know that this is a new fashion trend. You heard it here first!
