Reuben's stitches of the year

 Last year Reuben fell during a seizure and ended up with nine stitches - two deep and seven on the surface under his chin.

This year he stepped it up a notch, and fell NOT during a seizure, and ended up with seventeen stitches - three in the deeper layer and fourteen on the surface. The doctor sewing him up said that while it's definitely not the worst thing she's stitched up, it's probably the worst cheek that she's done.

Sure hoping we don't continue this pattern next year, but I also wouldn't be surprised if this is not the last time we find ourselves at the ER getting him sewn back together...
